Pto Switch

I have MZ 61 & MZ 48. 61 PTO would not engage. Took PTO switch panel off terminal with blue wire was slightly melted. So to troubleshoot I took switch out of 48 and put into 61. still did not work. put switch back in 48 and it would not work. Ohmed out both clutches and got 2.2 & 3.3. It is my understanding that they should be between 2 & 4, so they should be good unless I got wrong information. Bought new switches and fixed 48. Can jump between purple wire and blue wire on PTO switch wiring harness and blades will run. Can you tell me what I am missing? I have tried to find wiring diagram for PTO switch harness so I can see what other wires go to but have not been successful. Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to this link and download the manual. Page 51 of the PDF of 64 pages gives you a circuit diagram of the wiring of the machine. If you check your wiring compares to this then you should be OK.
