The Switch For The Light Is Not Working.

The switch for the light is not working. Should I replace the switch housing?

If you mean the individual switch and its case (like this one), that is often the culprit, especially since the angle at which the chain is often pulled, but it's impossible to say for sure without troubleshooting.
