Beater Bar Will Not Work Anymore On My Seven Month Old Vacuum.

Hello, I was vacuuming my camper out and turned it off to go into the next room. when I plugged it back in, the beater bar would not work. My husband cleaned the bar, placed it back in, and made sure the belt was on, but the beater bar will not turn anymore when on. This happened before, but it eventually came back; not this time though. please help, Jen
