- Check the water tank: Make sure that the water tank is filled with clean water and that it is properly attached to the cleaner. If the tank is empty or not attached correctly, the cleaner will not spray water.
- Check the solution tank: Make sure that the solution tank is properly attached to the cleaner and that it contains cleaning solution. If the solution tank is empty or not attached correctly, the cleaner will not mix and spray solution.
- Check the nozzle and hose: Make sure that the nozzle and hose are free from clogs or blockages. You can detach the hose and nozzle from the cleaner and rinse them with warm water to remove any clogs.
- Check the brush roll: Make sure that the brush roll is properly installed and free from debris. Debris such as hair or thread can get tangled around the brush roll and prevent it from spinning properly, which can affect the water flow.

- Check the water tank: Make sure the water tank is properly seated in the machine and is filled with clean water. If the tank is not properly inserted or if it is empty, the machine will not be able to spray water.
- Check the solution tank: Ensure that the cleaning solution tank is properly inserted and contains cleaning solution. The machine needs both water and cleaning solution to work properly.
- Check the hose and nozzle: Make sure the hose and nozzle are not clogged with debris or dirt. Remove any blockages you find.
- Check the belt: If the brush roll is not spinning, check the belt to see if it is broken or loose. If it is, you may need to replace the belt.
- Check the pump: If none of the above steps fix the issue, there may be an issue with the pump. In this case, you may need to contact Hoover customer support for further assistance.
If you have tried all of the above steps and the machine is still not spraying water, it is possible that there may be an internal issue with the machine. In this case, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
