If your Hoover PowerScrub XL is not dispensing water through the main carpet cleaner, but only through the upholstery hose, you can try the following steps:

- Rinse out the water tank, including the foam filter.

- Rinse out the nozzle as it may have clogs in it.

- Make sure the circular hose tool connection door on the nozzle is closed.
