Vacation Mode

We are trying to set this thermostat for a vacation mode heat setting at 55 , for 90 days. We tried this a week ago, but came into the house with the heat at 68.We used the manual and used the directions in the manual for vacation mode.Model # T 8665A

If you told us exactly what you did, we very likely could tell you what if anything you were doing wrong--but as an independent help site, we can't improve on the instructions Honeywell gave you. So at this point I can only suggest two options: (1) Resubmit, telling us in detail how you made your attempt, or (2) phone Honeywell to get a walk-through--use the contact information here--https://www.contacthelp.com/honeywell/customer-service.. If Honeywell's phone walk-through doesn't solve, then your machine is defective and should if possible be returned to the retailer or to Epson.
