It Works Not Right
Hello,Can you please show me how I can fix the problem with my RTH8500 Honeywell?We used it a couple years already, it works very well. The problem just happened a couple days ago. Even I set up the heating the same as " EnergyStar setting for maximum cost savings " as in the operating Manual book . But I seems wrong . The temperature inside is higher ( 80 ) than the temperature I set up (70) . Because it's too hot , I turn off heating ( our system is at OFF ) , but the temperature inside still 79 even the weather outside is minus-10oC . It's weird! Please tell me what I need to do now ?

If you have access to another thermometer use it to get a reference. If the thermostat doesn't read the same temp then it most likely has a component failure.
