If your Honeywell HZ690 heater is not heating, even though there is power, there could be several reasons for this. Some possible causes include:
  1. Thermostat setting: Make sure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature and the heating mode is turned on.
  2. Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker: Check if the fuse or circuit breaker has blown or tripped, which can cause the heater to stop working.
  3. Obstruction in the air intake or exhaust: Ensure that there are no obstructions in the air intake or exhaust, which can restrict air flow and cause the heater to stop working.
  4. Dirty or clogged air filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can reduce air flow and cause the heater to stop working. Clean or replace the air filter.
  5. Faulty heating element: If the heating element is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
  6. Control board problem: If the control board is faulty, it can cause the heater to stop working. In this case, you may need to have the control board repaired or replaced.

If you are unable to diagnose and fix the problem, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a professional technician to repair your heater.
