Honeywell Tower Fan Hy-047b Will Not Turn On
It was working fine and when bringing it out to use after a few months it would not turn on manually or with the remote

Sometimes this can occur if the back plate is not properly re-installed after cleaning the air filter. Both the filter and the back plate should audibly "click" when they lock into place to let you know that they are in. The fan has a kill switch that is triggered whenever the back plate is opened/removed. Its a safety feature to help protect people/children from injury that can occur by opening/removing the back plate while the unit is turned on.
