Service Light On My 506a Won't Turn Off

Live in central VA and activated unit yesterday. It began humidifying but I noticed excessive moisture on wall it's mounted to (mounted next to furnace). I turned it off but when reactivated, service light came on and won't turn off. Cleaned unit twice but no change as of today. Pushed reset button but still can't get rid of service light. What's my problem? Thanks.

Hi. The Service light is a fault indicator - for the which you sadly are to call your HVAC technician to service the humidifier. See page 7 of the Owner's Manual here
