The Ct87n Thermostat Contains A Small, Button Battery In The Removeable Head. Wh
The Honeywell CT87N thermostat contains a small, button type battery in the removeable "head" of the thermostat. What is the purpose of this battery? If it goes bad, what effect will it have on the thermostat or hvac system functions? No mention of it is found in the owners manual.
