Unlocking Dr Door
When unlocking the drivers door with the arm rest button or the remote the door unlocks; the manual button pops up and a split second it pulls down just enough to relock the door. The passenger door lock behaves normally. The lock system is set up to unlock the drivers door only when the trans is put in park and engine is shut off. This also results in an immediate relock.

It can be that you are using battery boosters or you have a sticky door switch confusing the door lock system. You also should try lock lubricants like 'locktite' or 'graphite'.
