When I Turn On The Headlights To My 1996 Honda Accord The Windsheildwipers Come

when I turn on my headlights to my 1996 honda accord for some reason the windsheildwipers seem to come on any ideas to why this is happening?

Hi, the headlights and the windshield wipers both have wiring inside that left shaft off of the steering column. It's possible something is wrong with the wires inside, and they are crossed or shorted somehow.
