Hitachi 60sdx88b Wont Turn On
the back side view of the board. a red light blinks.
a 4th green light and the far right is dim. the tv gets sound but no picture.. the lamps wont even turn on. we think its th ic chip. but want to get accurate info before we start buying parts and they turn out not to be the problem.

there is a good possibility that there is a green LED not lit up. Each of the green LEDs are monitoring each of the power sources. There is one that monitors the 120VDC that supplies the horizontal and the high-voltage section. You will likely find one of the output transistors shorted, causing an open fuse and the LED indicator to stay dark.
If you think the picture tubes are lamps, then I highly recommend you not troubleshoot these circuits since there is 30,000 VDC.
