Hp6450b Network Device
Hi there
I would like to confirm if the HP6450b' Network Interface is directly attached to the motherboard? So if the NIC is damaged, does that mean that the motherboard would need to be replaced as well?

The wired LAN interface is embedded on the main board. The WiFi LAN module is removable.

Yes, if the NIC is damaged the mainboard, or part of it would need replacement. The board is composed of 2 or 3 parts. You could always just add a USB NIC instead of replacing the board.
