Compaq Presario Cq20 Auto Shutdown After Few Minutes

Hi, can i know why my laptop is auto shutdown after few minutes running? And how am i going to fix it.Thanks

I think what your problem maybe that it is overheating and shutting down. Check that the fan is spinning. If it is, then the outlet would need cleaning of dust and maybe the CPU requires the heatsink compound renewing. These jobs require dismantling and the maintenance and service guide will explain how this is done.
