Printers print documents in 8.5 by 11 inches by default. You can modify this settings from the MS Word application. These are the steps that you need to follow.

1. Open the MS Word file that you wish to print

2. Click Page Layout

3. Click the Size drop down box

4. Select the 4x6 photo paper size

5. Print the document when you are ready by pressing Ctrl + P

The printer will automatically adjust itself to print a 4by6 inch document.
