Address Book Question

1. You have to add the HP Utility to your Print Scan Menu in your system preferences (by selecting it from a dropdown menu), then meander through the settings to find: Utility button:

Mountain Lion uses AirPrint by default, which do not provide the HP Utility.

However you may add an HP Driver as following which will also include the HP Utility.

 I'VE MODIFIED HER PROCESS SLIGHTLY TO MAKE IT SIMPLER: 

1. SYSTEM PREF>Under Print & Scan> click the Plus sign (AT THE BOTTOM LEFT) and select the printer.
2. FROM THE drop-down menu> Select the printer model instead of AirPrint.
3. Click Add.
4. OPEN PRINT QUEUE and click OPTIONS AND SUPPLIES.
5. SELECT Utility tab and SELECT Open Printer Utility. (THIS IS THE ACTUAL HP PRINT UTILITY YOU'VE BEEN MISSING).
6. SELECT ADDITIONAL SETTINGS>SELECT OPEN EMBEDDED WEB SERVER>
7. (IF YOU RECEIVE ERROR MESSAGE RE. THE SITE'S CERTIFICATE, DON'T WORRY, HP EXPECTS THIS)
8. SELECT MANAGE TAB (MID PAGE, RIGHT SIDE)
9. SELECT EMAIL ADDRESS BOOK> EDIT EACH ADDRESS ENTRY.
10. TO DELETE> SELECT ENTRY>SELECT RED X FOR DELETE.
11. UNFORTUNATELY, HP LIMITS THE AMOUNT OF ADDRESSES YOU CAN HAVE SO BE CAREFUL.
12. SAVE
13. You may keep the HP Utility at the dock for easier access...
14. THIS IS GREAT, BUT I HAVE YET TO FIND A WAY TO CLOSE IT OUT OR LOG OUT.  
15. I JUST CLOSED THE WINDOW.  
16. DONE. !

SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG, BUT IT IS A WINDING, COMPLICATED SOLUTION FOR A PROCESS THAT SHOULD HAVE A BUILT-IN APP.  SO MUCH FOR KEEPING IT SIMPLE...But it does work.
