How To Speed Up The Printing

My Officejet Pro 8100 is printing extremely slow. It takes about a minute to a minute and a half to print a standard b&w page.  Any suggestions to improve the speed?

Save your files in word versus pdf. While the text is the same printed a pdf can be 20 times the size of a doc and therefor takes longer to print. You can also lower the print quality.
