Hp Officejet 6700 Streak When Copying

A streak when copying is often caused by dirt on the slit glass. The slit glass is the small strip of glass next to the large scanner glass that you see when you lift up the document feeder. You might see Wite-Out or dirt on the glass, but even if you don't, cleaning the glass with alcohol and a lint-free rag will typically get rid of the streak.
