Hp Laptop Nw8440

i have brought new battery but my laptop is not chargingg why i have tested all battery it is not charging battery what to do plz tell

Do the following:

Disconnect AC

Shutdown

Remove battery

Connect AC

Startup

Open Device Manager

Click the plus (+) sign next to Batteries category, right-click all of the "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" listings, and select Uninstall In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK. (it's ok if you only have 1 of these).

Click the plus (+) sign next to System Devices.

Right-click the "ACPI Fixed Features Button" and select Uninstall. In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK.

Hello, if the old battery wouldn't charge and the new battery wouldn't charge, the most likely problem is a bad charger. Try a new charger and see if that charges the battery. If it still won't charge, you may have a deeper problem, such as a faulty board or power jack.
