to scan a paper first turn on your printer then put the paper onto the place where you also make copies after that press scan and if it doesnt scan to your computer then go to start and press view all printers or there should be an icon that say scanning in Acceseries when you click on all programs. When you view all printers then you look for the printer yuo are using, click on it and you should see scan , copy or something and just press scan. i hope i help =]
