Printer Status Says Offline, How Do You Bring It Online.

was working alright before current went now it says Status OFFLINE

I would suggest removing the power plug from the wall for about 10 minutes to allow the printer to drain away any residual power. Then replace the power plug and try again. Even though the printer is switched off the unit is still in standby and a power surge can lock it up. Further help can be found at the HP link attached.
