Hard Drive Install, Hp Designjet 1050c
Is there any configuration or setup with a new hard drive? Do I just insert the device and let the printer see it and configure it by itself?

ISSUE:
Can the hard drive on the 1050C, 1055CM, 1050C plus, or 1055cm plus be upgraded.
SOLUTION:
No, the 1000 series hard drives use a proprietary hard drive image, and cannot be upgraded. That would say to me that you must purchase your hard drive from HP or accredited dealer. Assuming you have bought your drive from HP it should be plug-and-Go. Fitting an ordinary drive and formatting does not appear to be an option.
