No Ink On Page When Self Test

i am using this printer for my midtronics micro520 and when i try and do the print test and when i do i get blank paper? how can i fix this

Is it possible the paper is in the wrong way? Check as this is an infrared printer that does not have ink but places the image on the paper the same as thermal paper.Also check that you do not have a corrupt driver.
