You can buy one for about $50 on Amazon but I think it's way overpriced. You can get a much better scanner for less than that.

New will cost anywhere from $220 and up.

Refurbished costs around $140.

You can view an example of these here

As for used, there is a variety of price ranges out there. As you can see at these 2 well known shopping websites.

Amazon: $44 to $65 Used - This model HP scanner is not advrtised as new, only used currently available.

Ebay: $5 and up used - This scanner can also be found here as used and fairly cheap.

However, buyer beware. Although Ebay maintains a fairly honest website, there is no guarantee how long the scanner would last.

Please keep in mind: Inventory on these websites change 24 hours a day, so you may come across a new HP scanner on some days, yet not others as merchandise can come in as quickly as it goes out,
