Hayward Dv5000 Installation Instructions

Are there any written instructions other than ones that came with unit. That one is primarily drawiongs without much instructions. They assume I understand how an eyeball diverter works. I install in the hose but it covers they flow part. How does that affect anything. The drawing of the regulartor flow show san exposed window (or whatever you call) and the actual flow regulator doesnt. HELP. I am almost beyone frustrated. I am about ready to return it but the first thing out of pinch-a-penny's mouth was NO return. Additionally, it came without a band to place inline with the halo
