In my case it works after a few attempts (3-4) and in work great afterwards. It even starts well when it is warm.

One of the power amplifier output stages will have failed. There are power transistors which control the current to the speakers, One or more of those has probably gone bad. This causes the high voltage power supply to try to go directly to the speaker. To protect the speaker from damage, a special protector circuit turns the output stage off (usually the turn on click will no longer happen either since the speaker protection relay will be holding off). It usually happens if someone shorts the speaker wires together but it can happen from old age as well. It may be repairable by replacing some of the components in the output stage, or the repairer may replace the whole board (many of them do not have the skill or time to replace components any more).
