Is My Gears Off?

I went to use my ice cream maker and the paddle wouldn't turn

May be it wont power on

Your paddle won't turn. Your silver bucket is the one moving (turning) and not the paddle. It's working like it should. I thought the same before I found the lid (cover).

Be sure the little gear is inserted between the paddle and the motor. I have found that it falls out of the motor and then out of the paddle if you are not watching.
