Broken Knob Replacement

I have the Hamilton Beach 31101 oven. The knob to switch from bake/broil/convection has been broken. It is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Do you have a replacement part for this knob? If not, do you know where I might get one?Joan or Bob willoughby

You may be confusing us--an independent help site--with Hamilton Beach.) If you can't get the parts from the company [use the contact information at:

https://www.contacthelp.com/hamilton beach/customer-service], you may be able to obtain the part number. Then, even without the part number, consider the following:

  1. Try http://www.searspartsdirect.com/ [call if necessary] or https://encompass.com/.
  2. Try another online parts source like http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ or https://www.partstore.com/
  3. Contact local parts dealers and used appliance dealers, who might be able to supply or maybe fix the part
  4. Enter your part number in a search engine like Google's or Yahoo's
  5. Try http://www.searchtempest.com/, which displays global listings from eBay, Craigslist, and other sources
  6. Take the part you have to an appliance technician, who might possibly be able to fix or replace the part

(For option 5, you may want to use a free tracking program like https://www.followthatpage.com/ to save you from having to repeat your search over time.)
