Replacement Fan For Hvw18abb
I am trying to find a replacement for the Lower Fan on a Haier HVW18ABB. The original fan is a Heng Shan Model FS92252M 12v DC 0.2A two-wire. It is 3 5/8 X 3 5/8 X 1 (or 92mm x 92mm x 25mm). I have found a couple of possibilities, but don't know the wattage or RPM rating for the original. I tried to order a replacement before and was sent a Heng Shan FS80252L which is too small (3 x 3 x 1). Do you have a replacement fan that is the correct size?

You can use the Antec Tricool 3-speed fan. Cut off the connectors, cut off the white wire (fan sensor for computer use) and connect the RED wire on the Antec unit to the BLACK wire on the Haier, and the BLACK wire on the Antec to the WHITE wire on the Haier. works like a charm and much quieter.

I have the same unit and same problem with the lower fan assembly. I too tried to locate the OEM Heng Shan P/N FS92252M with no success. Thought I'd try an alternate route and opted to go with Heng Shan P/N RF-2750-09 which I purchased through Repair Clinic, their Item No. 1222948-cost +freight $28.52. This fan assembly is a bit larger in rectangular and thickness dimensions, but there's enough clearance under the outer cover. Simularly rated. I simply drilled 4 new holes in the flange piece which covers the thermal electric unit. Four (4) 9/16" holes with ¾" sheet metal screws to secure back on the flange. I spliced and reconnected the black and white wires with wire caps, reassembled and plugged in. Been working great for over a year.
