Haier Cpn14xh9 Bad Smell
I purchased the Haier CPN14xh9 about a year ago and have loved it. I clean the filter regularly and use the cooling system probably less than 3 hours per day. In the last month or two, however, a foul smell/odor has been coming out during operation. It is worse during the fan mode (prior to the cooling mode kicking on), but it is sometimes present in both the fan and cooling modes. I can't figure out what is causing this. Can you please offer suggestions? I've gone through the owner's manual and can't find anything relevant to a bad odor. The unit works perfectly other than this periodic (albeit annoying) foul odor. Please help! Thanks!
