Text Messages Wont Open From Home Screen
When I hit my text message icon it acts like it's going to open then but then it closes right back to home page I can go to a contact and send messages that way but it only shows that contact

Go to settings> Apps> All(or Running, your pick)> pick your messaging app and click it. On the app info screen you have a button marked clear cache. Click it just dont click clear data by mistake or you will lose all your sms/mms settings.
