Facing Charging Problem With My Htc Vivid

I am facing charging problem with my HTC Vivid. When I plugin the charger the light flashing for some times and then stoped the light. After trying several times it start charging but takes long time to charge. After compliting full charge I can use the phone for at best 2 hours then again I have to plugin the charger. I want solution of this problem.
