Lights On The Front
There should be 5 green lights on the front of this monitor. When I turn it on, there is one red light on the bottom and the rest are green and the lights stay on constantly. This monitor does not work, but the second one does. Is it the battery? Or something else?

Generally if the bottom LED is red, it means the parent unit and nursery unit are either too far away or don't have a connection. Try moving them closer, or check the path between them for obstacles that might cause interference (microwave, cordless phone, WiFi devices, etc.).
