Webpage/site Problems
when I click on a website (including google)-Iget a completely different website e.g.ask jeeves,pharmaceutical supplies etc. If I go back and click again I get the required website. Can this be rectified. It is so annoying that I am considering unsubscribing to google chrome.

It sounds like you have malware (aka spyware) on your computer. You can read more about how malware can redirect your browser at these links:
Your best bet is to install some type of anti-malware software and let that try to clean your system. A good option is Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/). They have a free version that may help.
