How To Switch To Classic Google Navigation Menu?

Dear Google Support, Please tell me (in words and steps that I can understand) how to switch back to my classic horizontal Google navigation menu (web: images, videos, map, calendar, etc.)  It suddenly disappeared and was replaced by a a dreadful black drop down navigation menu.  I don't care if my horizontal navigation menu is black or white, I just want my old one back.  Please.  With Humble Thanks, Jay

Google is going to move towards dropping the old style completely.  It may be better to simply get used to the new look.

There has been a huge backlash so they may back it out (but I would not hold my breath.).

Here are some web sites that give instructions on how to revert back.  Note that the only way is to use a "hack" of some sort.

I use https://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en#t_0 though it doesn't always work.
