A third party cookie is one placed on your computer by usually an advertiser from a website you visited. Say you visit a newspaper website, you would get a cookie from the newspaper and probably more from the advertisers on that website. They use it to keep track of what sites you have visited to decide where to advertise etc. You can block 3rd party cookies in your browser preferences.

Did you block third-party ads and cookies? I have cookie-blocking on my Chrome browser. Do you have anti-virus programs? I have those too and they help a lot. If you want to block cookies or haven't tried it yet do this: go to settings, scroll to the bottom where it says "advanced settings", then, scroll to the heading labeled Privacy, click content settings, then view the heading titled Cookies, check the box that says "block third-party cookies and site data," then hit done at the bottom right corner.

This will block all those annoying ads. After you try that, have your anti-virus program run a scan to make sure you don't have any viruses. Hope this helps, let me know if you are still having difficulties!

For the browser Internet Explorer Version 8 or Internet Explorer Version 7 click on:

'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Privacy' > 'Advanced'

first Override automatic cookie handling

then Accept First-party cookies

and Block Third-party cookies.

finally Click 'OK'

Some browser sites, e.g. Hotmail / Yahoo may require the use of their own third-party cookies so you may need to add these to Exceptions.

For the Firefox browser . You can get cookie culler

Whatever internet browser it is just go to settings options and then find it there.

You should have mentioned which internet browser you use!
