Accessing A Lost Account

A while ago I had made a Gmail account for myself and had handed it out to some people to contact me. I have since lost contact with them, and the phone that had my login information (and was logged in) got water logged and is no longer accessible. When I've tried breaking back into my account it asks me security questions (that frankly no one would know off the top of their heads) such as the date created and the last known password (which there has only ever been one of). Google has no direct helpline I can contact without waiting for a couple hours, and I'm wondering if there is some way I can contact Google and get them to reset my password for me. Thanks!
