The manual doesn't specify any weight limit for a load, most washing machines have a weight capacity written on it somewhere. In the manual GE do say if washing sheets, comforters etc. the place them around the outside of the drum and not to wrap them around the centre part. May I suggest calling them on 800 626 2000 and asking them, just tell them your model number and serial number and they should be able to tell you.
