What Causes Water To Leak From The Front Control Panel?

Water leaks during the cycle and when door is fully opened. Leaks are from the vent area (near the heater on/off switch) and in the center of the control panel. The leaks sometimes appear at the bottom of the door (resulting in water on the floor). Door gasket appears to be OK. I assume the water is running down the inside of the interior door panel and is leaking out the bottom.
