Powering On?
I used my nuvi255lmt many times. I had it in the car and when I went to turn on it would not power up either in battery mode or with the power cord? What gives. I had to plug it in my lap top via usb cable, left it in for an hour then it worked. That sucks if I need to do that very often.
Any one have an answer to this?

next time just try holding the power button for 30 secs to a min without it being plugged in. Mine does this often and for a while I was regretting buying it but the above has worked to get it to come back and then it works fine for a while before messing up again then the old hold down trick and wallah back online so I just suffer.
