Greetings - Battery Saver Mode is activated when the battery is no able to charge properly or at all. This can be caused by a bad battery or alternator. Dirty battery terminals also may interrupt charging at times (a sandpaper can be used to clean these). In short, your battery should be empty now.

Hope that is helpful.
