To Reset Radio In 2001 Gmc Sonoma

First with the car in the run position press and hold presets 2 and 3 for a few seconds. 3 digits will pop up on the screen, these are the first 3 digits of the unlock code. Now press the AM/FM button and another 3 digit number will be displayed, these are the last 3 digits of the unlock code. So you should have 6 numbers in total now xxx-xxx
You will need a GM dealer to call the hotline to retrieve the master code, and they will want you to come in to get it ( to show ownership of the vehicle ) they do this because of car theft, and it should be free of charge. After you get the master code you will want to hit the Hour button (lower right side of the radio) and input the first 2 digits, And the Min button for the last 2 digits. now press the AM/FM button and you should be unlocked.

hope it wil help
