Why Doesnt The Yukon Speed Up More Than 30 Mph?

Indicator light pops up with the letters tc.

The "tc" stands for traction control. If the light is on, the traction control has either been turned off or there is something wrong with the vehicle. If you can't go more than 30 MPH, there must be something wrong.

Check your parking brake and make sure that it isn't engaged or locked up. Park your vehicle on a slight incline and place it in neutral. If it deosn't roll back, then your parking brake is locked up or your brakes are dragging. 

If it isn't a brake problem, you will have to take it into the auto repair shop to have the drivetrain checked out. Could be a transmission problem, but it's difficult to say what else it could be.
