1998 K1500 Gmc Suburban With 5.7 Coolant Leak.
my suurban was leaking coolanf and it was dripping off the frame rail by the bassenger door, so i thought it would be the two coolant lines that run back to the auxiliary heater. how do i get those two hoses out? its steel tubing that turns into a rubber hose.
i have tried some fixes on that hose and it seemed to make thiongs worse and am now trying to get it fixed right.
also, would the heater core leak to this same spot?

I also have the same problem. Found out that the hoses that go into the heater core have plastic spliters under the air filter housing. After so many years they get brittle. Once you move one they seem to all break. Just noticed the leak so I haven't found the replacement parts other than the dealer. Of what I can see it should be doable. Unfortunately I did not take any pics.
