How To Remove The Cooling Fan Form A 96 Gmc Jimmy

The big nut on the inside of fan that's attached to the pulley, it's a left-handed thread. Use a wrench that fits it or a long punch, put the wrench on the nut & tap the end of wrench with a hammer while leaning it to the left. If using a punch, set it on the edge of the nut on left side & tap it with a hammer. Loosen it the rest of the way with your hand.
