Anti-lock Brakes

When i press on my brakes even going at low speeds and barely pressing on them, my ABS engages and almost causes me to wreck into the person in front of me. I dont know why it is doing this becuase i barely even press on them. How do i disengage or unplug my ABS on my 1996 two door GMC Jimmy

Not a good idea to disable your ABS system. You probably have a dirty or defective wheel speed sensor. Not too hard to replace. There is usually two per vehicle. One on each side of the inside of the front rotors. Not too expensive, either. Go to your local automotive store and they should have them in stock.
