The problem lies most times in the main board on the front door and the wiring harness that runs all the way down through the door.
The main control board is sensing the door is left open and the power loss is just a false error. This usually happens after a power surge or power outage to the home and unit. The surge will short out the relays inside the board.
Sometimes you can just either unplug the freezer or if you cant flip the breaker off to the ref if you cant reach the plug. Keep power off for about 5 mins then plug it back in or flip the breaker back on again.
This will reset the board and hopefully get it to kick in again.
