Hello isabelnadrian2, I am happy to assist you. That’s is correct, when the door(s) have been opened for longer than 10 minutes, an audio alarm sounds and the interior lights shut OFF. This protects the liner from melting due to the heat produced by the light bulbs. The alarm will sound every two minutes until the doors are closed. Once the doors are closed, the alarm is reset. However, since it continues to beep, let’s try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the appliance back on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, then it may be a warning sign of a possible malfunction or unsafe, interior temperature. Therefore, the refrigerator could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or a wiring failure. I would recommend connecting with a professional appliance tech for a clear-cut diagnosis.
